43rd New Jersey Senior Citizens Annual Juried Art Contest and Exhibition

The PHS Senior Living Foundation has been chosen to host the 43rd New Jersey Senior Citizens Annual Art Contest and Exhibition. The event will take place at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor, NJ and will be available for viewing the entire month of October, 2010.

The first step to entering this state wide senior juried art contest is to enter your county’s competition. Contact information for the counties is listed below.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS for state show:

  • Friday, April 16, .........Submission deadline for new County Coordinator’s Infosheet 
  • Wednesday, August 25, .........Submission deadline for County Entry Forms (unless county contest postdates deadline)
  • Tuesday, Sept 21,......... Delivery of artwork - - - 10 am - 2 pm
  • Wednesday, Sept 22, .........Hang exhibit - - 9 am - 4 pm
  • Thursday, Sept 23, ......... Judging - - - - - 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, Label artworks/Hang ribbons - 1:30 - 4:00 pm
  • Tuesday, Sept 28, ......... Notification to counties of state contest winners. Each county notifies its winners.
  • Monday, September 27, – Thursday, October 28, …Exhibition open to the public, Mon. – Sat.  10:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Friday, Oct 29, .............................. Closing Reception & Awards Ceremony, 10:30 am – 2:00 pm
