SpringPoint Foundation’s ENCORE Program

Our Mission

The mission of ENCORE is to enhance people's lives and enrich communities through arts and culture.  What differentiates the mission of ENCORE from other arts and culture initiatives is we promote that active participation in arts and culture benefits people's health and well-being and improves their quality of life.  Further more we maintain that that arts and culture can bring communities together and make them stronger.

 

Our Goal

The overriding goal of ENCORE is to support programs and initiatives that make arts and culture programs more easily accessible to everyone throughout all phases of our lives.

 

How We Achieve Our Goal

ENCORE achieves our goal in two ways:

  1.  ENCORE addresses issues related to accessing arts and culture including transportation, presentation times, venue access, convenience of seating and cost of admission.
  2. ENCORE is an informational and networking resource for everyone who supports the ENCORE mission including:
      • individuals and communities seeking more arts and culture information and programming
      • professional directors responsible for developing and providing arts and culture activities and programs
      • arts and culture organizations and individuals who desire to meet the needs of those seeking arts and culture programming
